Is it my imagination or does a newspaper that sells it’s property to a newcomer and then uses it’s power to cut down the newcomer and all the time continue to use the building rent free . . . Does that smell bad to you? For the longest while, I have felt the only use of the Miami Herald was for wrapping fish. If you feel the same way, I would encourage you to voice your view in this forum.

You're not dreaming. Moderators at the Herald also filter out the most negative comments on their articles so it's hardly a level playing field. Maybe the building could be demolished today, wouldn't that fix everything?
ReplyDeleteThe Herald "colors" it's articles and leaves the hatchet jobs to old time "lovable" reporters like Fabiola Santiago who got famous off of the pour child Elian Gonzolez who she help elevate into a tool of Castro. All the while, the Herald showed banner ads above showing children against the casino bill. Wow, we know Florida lost 10 points in it's national education rating last year due to budget cuts, so make your point exploiting children and simultaneously flummox new funding for education.
ReplyDeleteThe Wall Street Journal reports that Genting vows to continue building albeit with a new plan. It is sad for Miamians that the full project could not be realized this year. It no doubt reduces the amount of recovery we might have received were it not for well paid third party groups jinxing the deal. A special message to all those people who spouted out the lies that quashed the deal this year: You suck!
